Chocolate Clusters
Are you ever in the mood for something awful for you? Like potato chips, french fries, french fries smothered in cheese curds and brown gravy with a vanilla frosty on the side?
I think we all are. Especially those of us with the BovenUN (riddles in a post, what?!). In desperate times, come desperate sweets. Such as this recipe that has been in my family for goodness knows how long. The original hand-written recipe has since been rewritten (read as someone wrote OVER the original amounts), but it has a classic look of a well loved recipe. There are dashes of previously made cookies all over the recipe page and the paper is as old as the hills.
I hope this becomes a new family recipe for you as well.

2. Bring to a rolling boil stirring constantly.

3. Continue to boil for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Stir into dry mixture.

4. Drop by tablespoon onto waxed paper. Let set for 2-3 hours, or until they lift off the paper in one piece.
